We do not recommend taking delta 8 if you are pregnant, because there have been no studies on the effects of delta 8 THC on a fetus or on someone who is pregnant. Delta 8 THC is a nontoxic compound that the endocannabinoid system can effectively manage in high doses. Therefore, there are no incidents recorded in which a person has overdosed on delta 8 due to toxicity levels. Still, taking extremely high doses is not recommended as this could lead to feelings of anxiety and paranoia.

An allergy specifically to the delta 8 compound is enormously rare, but we can never rule out that possibility as a human can be allergic to almost any organic substance. If you do have allergies, you should look through the full list of ingredients provided on each product page to make sure that there are no allergens that could trigger a dangerous response. We offer a comprehensive list of ingredients with each product that we sell.

You may notice that some delta 8 products we offer contain CBN. This is short for cannabinol, and it’s another derivative of delta 9 THC. Due to their molecular similarities, CBN and delta-8 seem to share a distinctive synergistic relationship that can promote stronger relaxation sensations. This is why products containing both delta 8 and CBN are often associated with bedtime use.

The unique high produced by delta 8 THC is usually described according to its cerebral effects. Certain products, however, can give you more of a “body high” felt in the muscles. If seeking out more physical effects, you can try capsules or gummies which best promote a body high experience.

Again, how quickly you feel the effects depends on the delivery method as well as your dosage amount. Flower will offer effects within just minutes, while edibles and capsules can take up to 2 hours before the effects are clearly felt within the body. A higher dosage will also allow those effects to kick in sooner.

How high you feel after taking a dose of delta 8 largely depends on the delivery method. Edibles and capsules yield the longest-lasting effects for up to 9-hours, while flower is the most short-lived, with effects usually tapering off after an hour. Another factor is how much you took, as the higher the dose, the longer the effects will be.

If you maintain a sober lifestyle, using delta 8 could conflict with that due to its intoxicating effects. If you wish to experience the properties of the hemp plant but wish to remain sober, you can try non-intoxicating cannabinoids like CBD, CBG and CBN. Delta-8 is just one of many cannabinoids in hemp that can offer desirable effects.

Delta 8, like CBD, must undergo a thorough testing process performed by a third-party laboratory before making its way onto the market. It’s tested for purity levels, signs of contamination and chemical composition. These lab reports should be provided on the product’s website.

Because delta 8 is a psychoactive compound, those who use it are always at risk of getting higher than they anticipated if they are not considering their dosage and tolerance. Getting too high can potentially cause feelings of anxiety and paranoia in some individuals, along with dry eyes and low blood pressure. All of these side effects are temporary, but if you do experience any concerning symptoms after using delta-8, seek medical attention immediately.

Like CBD, delta 8 could suppress CYP3A4 levels, with this enzyme being responsible for breaking down many popular medications. There is also no research on the potential that delta 8 has to interact with certain drugs.

Delta 8 and CBD can be taken together. As they exist alongside one another in nature, they are not associated with a negative interaction. CBD and delta 8 may work in a complementary way through synergy, offering a more balanced experience in which CBD takes the edge off of the high of delta 8.

Pets should never be given delta 8 THC. Their nervous systems cannot handle intoxicating substances, and this can lead to dangerous effects. Only give your pet CBD, under the guidance of a veterinarian.

You can fail a drug test after using delta 8 THC. Both delta 8 and delta 9 are processed by a metabolite called THC-COOH. Standard urine tests search for the presence of this metabolite in the urine.

Delta 8 is short for delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol. It’s a minor cannabinoid found in about 0.1% of the hemp plant’s chemical composition. Like CBD, delta 8 is a cannabinoid, and is actually a direct descendent of delta 9 THC. It essentially is the delta 9 compound that has aged in the plant, taking on an entirely new set of traits and properties through molecular transformation.

You can definitely take delta 9 THC before bed, and many people do. Delta 9 is a popular cannabinoid choice for bedtime, although it can be useful and enjoyable at any time of the day.

You can take delta 9 THC with other hemp products, since the compounds of the hemp work together synergistically and therefore do not cause a negative interaction. But, if you’re new to delta 9, we do not recommend combining it with another psychoactive cannabinoid-like delta 8 or delta 10. Delta 9 is already quite psychoactive, so taking it with another intoxicating cannabinoid may cause you to get “more high” than you’re comfortable with as a delta 9 beginner.

The effects of delta 9 THC edibles are usually felt somewhere between 1 and 2 hours after administration. The reason why it can take this long is because edibles must first be processed by the digestive system before the delta 9 THC is released by the liver into the bloodstream.

Most people find that the effects of delta 9 edibles last for somewhere around 8 hours.  This means that if you’re going to use one of our delta 9 edibles, you should keep your schedule somewhat clear for the next several hours.

Taking delta 9 THC in the serving sizes of the products that we carry will result in a failed drug test. Urine-based drug tests that are commonly administered by employers seek out a metabolite called THC-COOH which emerges when delta 9 is consumed. So, taking these products will trigger a positive result.

Delta 8 THC is known for its psychoactive buzz that is associated with feeling mellow yet alert. As of 2018, federal law permits the sales and use of all hemp products that contain a maximum of 0.3% delta 9 THC by dry weight. This law is echoed in all 50 states. The reason why we are able to sell delta 9 products legally is because these products contain no more than 0.3% by weight.

The hemp plant naturally has about 0.3% delta 9 THC. This is considered a trace amount, although the delta 9 can be isolated in the plant’s chemical composition and concentrated to produce products that yield higher strengths of the compound.

Delta 9 THC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in both hemp and marijuana. We use hemp-derived delta 9 THC, although the cannabinoid is chemically identical in both plants. It’s a known psychoactive, and it’s a cannabinoid, which means that its properties come from its interaction with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS).

Each delta 10 product type offers a unique experience, and which product you should take is completely up to you.

• Inhalable products like flower and vapes tend to take effect within minutes, offer a high potency and wear off within a couple of hours at most.
• Edibles tend to “kick in” within 1-2 hours, offering slightly milder cerebral effects and a stronger body high for around 8 hours.

All cannabinoids, including delta 10, work with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Delta 10 THC is such a new discovery that we don’t yet know its properties that relate to the endocannabinoid system other than its ability to get the user high, which comes from the cannabinoid’s interaction with CB1 receptors in the brain.

If you have never taken delta 10 before, best to start with a low serving size.

• If it’s flower or a vape product, this means a single puff.
• If it’s an edible, we recommend starting with a half of a serving.

As you develop a tolerance, you can consume a higher amount.

Delta 10 and delta 8 are both isomers of delta 9 THC, but their effects are different. While delta 10’s effects are more “sativa-like,” delta 8 is considered more mellowing, and it’s a more popular choice for evening. In terms of how intoxicating each compound is, they are quite similar.

Delta 10 THC can be taken at any time of day or night, but most people prefer delta 10 during the daytime hours. Delta-10 seems to offer a “sativa-like” effect to most users, meaning that it may be more uplifting and therefore better for the period of the day when you are the most active.

You can take delta 10 with other cannabinoids like CBD and delta 8 if you so desire. But, if you’re new to delta 10, we recommend taking it without any other psychoactive cannabinoids. Otherwise, you may end up getting more intoxicated than you’re comfortable with as someone who is new to the effects of delta 10 THC.

Consuming delta 10 puts you at a very high risk of failing a drug test. Drug tests do not search for the presence of delta 9 in the urine, but rather THC-COOH, an enzyme that metabolizes THC. THC-COOH metabolizes not only delta 9, but delta 10 and all THC-based cannabinoids.
